Right so I have actually had people ask me to show them around Missoula, so I will do so in a combination of videos and writings over the coming days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most important place in Missoula is of course my room in Miller Hall so we\u2019ll start here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I even made my bed!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

As you can see it is a tiny, yet functional heat box that allows me to occasionally sleep in relative peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Facilities in the male wing of my floor are: Bathroom with showers (that are often barely lukewarm, occasionally freezing, sometimes scolding, but rarely warm. Unless the temperature is lukewarm or colder it is almost unheard of to have 1 full minute of bareable water), drinking fountain, a corridor and a rubbish chute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Communal facilities on my floor are: Lift access (I\u2019m on the second floor) and a \u201cstudy\u201d room which never seems to be used for study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The poster says I can\u2019t cook. I though the size of my room meant I can\u2019t cook\u2026<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Yes, it says rubbish! Don\u2019t worry, they don\u2019t know what it means as proven by the \u2018subtitles\u2019 above every other rubbish chute that translates \u2018rubbish\u2019 to \u2018trash\u2019 so the locals can understand<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The drinking fountain<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Amazingly there is a sign that is not for the benefit of the locals. If you\u2019ve spoken to me since arriving you\u2019ll know exactly who this sign is for.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s it for photos. The study room is a room with 2 <\/del>picinc tables<\/del> (replaced on 11 November with chairs and tables), while the lift is a lift. Downstairs there is a communal lobby with a piano. In the basement there is a \u2018TV lounge\u2019 where you can watch TV or plug in a laptop and play movies. And last and most certainly least is a laundry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On a side note the laundry has 4 washing machines, 2 specialty washing machines and 8 clothes dryers. People are lazy and don\u2019t remove their laundry so you have to battle first for a washing machine, and then for a dryer. The way I get around this is by sometimes doing my washing early on a Saturday or Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
