Friday night saw was due to be the best night of the year to see the Northern Lights of the year. Following the advice of newspaper articles (NBC Montana) we headed out of town to a remote location, the promise of an amazing show is too hard to resist. Expectations were high in the Irish car, with Shannen and Fiona singing along to songs from the mooovie ‘Frozen’, excellent stuff!
We arrived just before the optimal viewing time of midnight with great expectations.
Amazing, incredible photos. We were pumped and slightly chilly due to the cold Montana air. We waited around, fended off a mountain goat and baby grizzly bear, all in the name of some amazing lights in the sky.
